Bita Badakhshan, MD

At the Center for New Medicine in Irvine, California, Dr. Bita Badakhshan provides industry-leading, fully-comprehensive medical services to patients in and around Irvine. She and her exceptional, warm and friendly staff ensure every patient receives complete, overall medical diagnoses, care and follow-up care within a trusting, friendly and professional office environment where every patient feels like they are a member of her own family. Dr. Badakhshan is originally from Sweden and relocated to Southern California in 1996. After relocating to the U.S. she completed her undergraduate education at UC Irvine, and her Medical Degree at St Georges. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. Before serving at the Center for New Medicine, she served in the Woodbury Medical Group, Sand Canyon Urgent Care, as well as Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Orange County. Dr. Badakhshan has widespread experience in primary care, urgent care, occupational injuries, and cosmetic/aesthetic procedures.

She is passionate about advocating healthy lifestyles for her patients through preventive health care and lifestyle adaptations that promote overall well-being. Because Dr. Badakhshan understands conventional medicine can be accentuated by other types of medicine, including alternative therapies, she is committed to finding solutions to the cause of illness, not just symptom treatment. She is a strong believer in whole-person treatment, committing much of her expertise to locating the root cause of the condition. She is a strong advocate for nutritional alternative medicine approaches. Additionally, she is a firm believer that a positive attitude goes a long way toward a prescription for lifelong health. She is a certified personal trainer. To that end, strength training has developed her interest in the fundamental values of nutrition.
