Farzaneh S. Khazrai Ph.D.

Dr. Khazrai is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with 25 years of experience providing mental health services. She started her graduate study and training in 1978 and has earned a Masters and a Ph.D. Degree from Syracuse University in Marriageand Family Therapy and Child and Family Studies, respectively. She has been a certified clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) since 1988
and is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.  She has served as an officer and active member on the boards of these associations’ chapters.

She has worked with individuals, couples and families in her private practice and community mental health agencies where she has clinically supervised staff therapists and marriage and family therapy interns.

Dr. Khazrai has given presentations and training workshops for various groups from college students to therapists on various subjects including issues of loss, family history and drinking patterns, and counseling culturally different clients. She maintains her private practice in Newport Beach, California.
